Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The location overlooking Hovey Lake was stunning, but being so far out of town was a downside. The rooms, especially the bathroom, were clean, but the layout was awkward and the bathroom felt dated and small. The service was average with a nice touch of a welcome drink.
The hotel's location is a bit disappointing with views of propane tanks, parking lot, and no access to the lake, while the rooms are dingy and awkwardly set up. The service is friendly but lacks some amenities, and the dining options are limited. On the upside, the hotel is conveniently located near Munising and offers stunning views of Hovey Lake.
The hotel had dated but very clean rooms, with some billing issues. The service provided was friendly, offering a welcome drink and tours/ticket assistance. The location, though far out of town, was absolutely perfect with access to a snowmobile/ATV path and the lake. The facilities were basic but satisfactory.
